Diagnosing Problems

Your Epson Stylus Photo R340 includes a number of ways to help you diagnose problems:

■To identify the most common problems, check for messages on the control panel display and follow the instructions provided. Some of the most common messages are explained in the next section.

■If you’re not sure whether the problem is coming from your printer or the computer, run a printer check as described on page 55.

■Check the solutions in other sections in this chapter. If none of the suggested solutions solve your problem, contact Epson as described on page 65.
