1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch.
2.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
3.Checktheairpressureinthedrivetires.Ifneeded,
adjusttotherecommendedination;referto
CheckingtheTirePressureinDriveSystem
Maintenancesection.
4.Settheheightofcuttothe3inch(7.6cm)
position.
5.Carefullyrotatethebladesfronttorear.Measure
fromthetipofthefrontbladetothelevelsurface.
Thebladesshouldmeasure3inches(7.6cm).
6.Ifitdoesnotmeasurecorrectly,locatethe
height-of-cutrodontherightsideofthemachine
(seeFigure27).

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Shutoffengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
3.Whentheparkbrakeisreleased,thebrakebars
shouldliftoffthetiresandthehandlevershould
travelforwardtotheendoftheslotinthecontrol
panel.Whenengagingthebrake,thehandlever
shouldtravel3/4inch(19mm)atthecontrol
panelslotwhenthebrakebarsrstcontactthe
tire.Measurethegapfromthefrontofthelever
totheendoftheslotinthecontrolpanelwhen
thebrakebarcontactsthetire.

ParkBrakeAdjustment

Iftheparkingbrakedoesnotholdsecurely,an
adjustmentisrequired.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Shutoffengineandwaitforallmovingpartsto
stop.
3.Checktheairpressureinthedrivetires.Ifneeded,
adjusttotherecommendedination;referto
