MOTION CONTROL LEVER

If the levers do not align with each other, when in the neutral position, (See Fig 2) loosen the hardware and make the appropriate adjustment by sliding/tilting the lever(s) forward or backward until properly aligned and tighten hardware.

b)If the ends of the levers hit against each other, while in the drive position (levers rotated in as far as possible), make adjustments by moving the levers outwards to the neutral lock position and carefully bend them outward. Move them back to the drive position and check for clearance, repeat if necessary.

3.6POSITION DISCHARGE CHUTE.

3.6.1Loosen two (2) 5/16” nylock nuts attaching discharge chute. Lower the discharge chute into position. Retighten nylock nuts until chute is snug but can pivot freely.

3.7SERVICE ENGINE.

Engine is shipped with oil, check oil level and if necessary fill to the appropriate level with SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40, AP1 service class SF or SG for operating in temperatures above 0° F (-18°C). See Engine Operator's Manual.

3.8SERVICE BATTERY. Machine is shipped with a dry battery.

3.8.1Remove battery from machine. Tilt seat up to gain access to the battery. Disconnect battery cables - negative(black) cable first. Remove battery hold-down and lift battery out.

3.8.2Place battery on a level surface and remove vent caps.

POTENTIAL HAZARD

Battery electrolyte contains sulfuric acid, which is poisonous and can cause severe burns

WHAT CAN HAPPEN

Swallowing electrolyte can be fatal or if it touches skin can cause severe burns.

HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD

Wear safety glasses to shield eyes, and rubber gloves to protect skin and clothing when handling electrolyte.

Do not swallow electrolyte.

Fill the battery where clean water is available for flushing skin.
