Set-Up
•Open the cabinet door and pull the waste basket (2) completely out of the cabinet.
•Put plastic waste bag in basket (sample bags provided). Allow bag edges to overhang. Contact Fellowes to order more bags (part # 36052).
•Slide the waste basket into the cabinet and shut the cabinet door (6).
•Plug the power cord into a convenient outlet.
•Store this use and care manual in slot inside cabinet door (6).

RREVERSE
Runs shredder in reverse mode. Press and hold to activate.
Safety Lock Light (7) If the shredder safety lock is on, the light is yellow.

Ready Light (4) (Green)
Shredder is in automatic start mode.
Paper Jam (9) Shredder is jammed (e.g., too much paper fed at one time).
Door Ajar (10)
Cabinet is open
Overheat light (11) Shredder requires cool down period.
Basket Full (12) Waste basket is full or paper has collected under cutting cylinders.
To shred
•Plug in shredder with control switch (5) in off [O] position
•Press control switch to automatic [I] position; cutting cylinders will run for
PAPER
•Insert the paper you wish to shred inside the sheet capacity measuring gauge (14) to avoid exceeding maximum sheet capacity. The paper that doesn’t
reach the bottom of the gauge should be set aside for the next shredding pass. (optional)
•Feed paper straight into entry (1), until the shredder automatically begins shredding; see Product Profile for limits on paper width, shreddable items, sheet capacity, etc.
•Shred for no more than 20 minutes; shredding longer will cause shredder to turn itself off for 30 minutes to cool down.
