Installation instructions

Fastening the cooktop to the counter

1Turn the cooktop upside down and place it on a soft surface.

2Spread the seal around the edges of the cooktop with the adhesive side facing down, as shown in Figs. 6 and 7. Make sure that the whole perimeter is sealed. Cut off any excess material.

3Mount the supplied clamps and screws onto the cooktop, as shown (without tightening the screws) if not already fitted.

4Place the cooktop into the cutout, then tighten the screws to clamp the cooktop securely to the counter.

5Using a sharp cutter or trimmer knife, trim the excess sealing material around the edge of the cooktop. Take care not to damage the countertop.

Note: if the countertop is thicker than 1 9⁄16” (40 mm), recess the underside to between 1 3⁄16” (30 mm) and 1 9⁄16” (40 mm).

CI365DT specifications

The Fisher & Paykel CI365DT is an innovative induction cooktop that seamlessly integrates style, efficiency, and advanced cooking technology. Known for its sleek design and high-performance capabilities, this cooktop is an ideal choice for both professional chefs and home cooking enthusiasts.

One of the standout features of the CI365DT is its powerful induction technology. This type of cooking system uses magnetic fields to directly heat pots and pans, resulting in quicker cooking times and more efficient energy use. Unlike traditional gas or electric stoves, induction cooktops heat only the cookware, reducing wasted energy and improving safety by keeping the cooking surface cooler to the touch.

The CI365DT boasts five cooking zones, each with varying power levels to accommodate different cooking methods. These zones allow for versatility, whether one is simmering delicate sauces or searing meats at higher temperatures. The precise temperature control of the cooktop is another noteworthy advantage, enabling users to achieve consistent results with ease.

In addition to performance, safety is a critical consideration with the CI365DT. The cooktop features a child lock function and an automatic shut-off feature, providing peace of mind in busy kitchen environments. Residual heat indicators inform users when the surface is still hot, further enhancing safety.

Another characteristic that sets the CI365DT apart is its intuitive touch controls. The digital interface is user-friendly, allowing cooks to adjust settings effortlessly with just a swipe of a finger. This modern design element not only improves usability but also contributes to the cooktop's sleek aesthetic.

The CI365DT is remarkably easy to clean. With a smooth glass surface, spills and splatters can be quickly wiped away, making it a practical choice for daily cooking. Additionally, the cooktop's edge design prevents food from falling beneath the surface, simplifying maintenance.

Overall, the Fisher & Paykel CI365DT is designed for both style and substance. Its induction cooking technology, safety features, intuitive controls, and ease of maintenance make it a standout option in the realm of modern cooking appliances. Whether you're an avid home cook or a culinary professional, the CI365DT offers a perfect blend of functionality and elegance, transforming the cooking experience into an enjoyable and efficient endeavor.
