Choosing the right cookware

Only use cookware with a smooth base suitable for induction cooking. Look for the induction symbol on the packaging or the bottom of the pan.

You can check whether your cookware is suitable by carrying out a magnet test. Move a magnet towards the base of the pan. If it is attracted, the pan is suitable for induction.

If you do not have a magnet:

1Put some water in the pan you want to check.

2Follow the steps under ‘To start cooking’ opposite.

3If the ‘No pan’ indicator does not glow and the water is heating, the pan is suitable. Cookware made from the following materials is not suitable: pure stainless steel, aluminum or copper without a magnetic base, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic, earthenware.

Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.

Make sure that the base of your pan is smooth, sits flat against the glass, and is the same or similar size as the cooking zone. Always center your pan on the cooking zone.

Always lift pans off the cooktop– do not slide, or they may scratch the glass.

These zones allow for versatility, whether one is simmering delicate sauces or searing meats at higher temperatures. The precise temperature control of the cooktop is another noteworthy advantage, enabling users to achieve consistent results with ease.

In addition to performance, safety is a critical consideration with the CI365DT. The cooktop features a child lock function and an automatic shut-off feature, providing peace of mind in busy kitchen environments. Residual heat indicators inform users when the surface is still hot, further enhancing safety.

Another characteristic that sets the CI365DT apart is its intuitive touch controls. The digital interface is user-friendly, allowing cooks to adjust settings effortlessly with just a swipe of a finger. This modern design element not only improves usability but also contributes to the cooktop's sleek aesthetic.

The CI365DT is remarkably easy to clean. With a smooth glass surface, spills and splatters can be quickly wiped away, making it a practical choice for daily cooking. Additionally, the cooktop's edge design prevents food from falling beneath the surface, simplifying maintenance.

Overall, the Fisher & Paykel CI365DT is designed for both style and substance. Its induction cooking technology, safety features, intuitive controls, and ease of maintenance make it a standout option in the realm of modern cooking appliances.
