•Wipe the steering column with a paper towel to remove any dirt or oils.
•Slide a square bushing onto the straight end of the steer- ing column.

•Turn the vehicle body on its side.
•Insert the curved end of the steering column into the hole in the steering linkage. Make sure the steering column is positioned between the guides on the underside of the vehicle body.
