Confusables are homonyms, homo- phones and spelling variants that are easy to confuse. If the word you looked up is a confusable, CONF will flash once in the upper right of the screen. To view confusables, do the following:
1.Press dict .
2.Type a word (e.g., rein) and press
enter .
You will see CONF flash briefly.
3. Press ? * to view the confusables.
Another way to look up words is by highlighting them in dictionary entries, thesaurus entries, or word lists. You can then find their definitions, thesaurus entries or add them to My Word List.
1.At any text, press enter to start the highlight.
To turn the highlight off, press back .
2.Use the arrow keys to move the highlight to the word you want.
Confusables include identifying words.
4.Press enter for a highlight. Use the arrow keys to move the highlight to the word you want.
5.Press enter to find the definition, or press thes to see the thesau- rus entry (if any).
