DOUBLE INSULATION

To ensure safer operation of this tool, Freud has adopted a double insulation design. "Double Insulation" means that two physically separated insulation systems have been used to insulate the electrically conductive materials connected to the power supply from the outer frame handled by the operator.

To keep the double insulation system effective, follow these precautions:

Be careful not to pierce the motor housing as this could damage the efficiency of the double insulation system.

Only Freud Authorized Service Centers should disassemble or assemble this power tool, and only genuine Freud replacement parts should be installed.

The Freud Tools FT3000VCE is an exceptional plunge router designed for both amateur woodworkers and seasoned professionals. Known for its reliability and precision, this versatile power tool stands out in the crowded market of woodworking equipment, making it a favorite among DIY enthusiasts and contractors alike.

One of the main features of the FT3000VCE is its powerful 3.0 HP motor. This robust motor provides consistent power, ensuring smooth operation even in tough materials such as hardwoods and laminates. The variable speed control, adjustable from 8,000 to 21,000 RPM, allows users to match the routing speed to the task at hand, whether it’s intricate detail work or heavy stock removal.

Precision is paramount in woodworking, and Freud addresses this with its patented "Soft Start" technology. This feature gradually ramps up the motor speed to reduce sudden jolts, giving users better control and minimizing strain on both the router and the material. Additionally, the electronic feedback system ensures a stable RPM throughout the cut, maintaining performance despite varying load conditions.

The FT3000VCE is built with user comfort in mind. Its ergonomic design includes a balanced body with soft-grip handles, allowing for easier maneuverability and reduced operator fatigue during extended use. The inclusion of a precise depth adjustment system simplifies the process of setting cut depth, while the easy-to-read scale ensures accuracy.

Another noteworthy characteristic is the dual side handles that provide added stability and control, especially during complex routing tasks. The router also features a powerful integrated dust collection system, which helps to maintain a clean working environment by effectively capturing sawdust and debris.

For versatility, the Freud FT3000VCE offers a variety of base options including a fixed base, plunge base, and even a cam-lock system for quick changes between bases. This adaptability allows woodworkers to approach a wide range of projects, from edge profiling to mortising and hollowing.

In summary, the Freud Tools FT3000VCE combines power, precision, and comfort into a single reliable tool that can elevate any woodworking project. With its advanced technologies, ergonomic design, and versatile capabilities, it remains a top choice for those seeking a high-quality plunge router.
