Charging the Battery

The battery is not charged at shipment. Charge the battery before use.

Steps First

1Place the battery in the charger.

Insert the battery into the supplied BC-45 battery charger as shown, making sure that the battery is in the correct orientation.

2Plug the charger in.

Connect the power cable and plug the char- ger into a power outlet. The red charging indicator will light.

3Charge the battery.

Charging is complete when the charging in- dicator turns off. A fully exhausted battery takes about 180 minutes to charge.
