Aspect Ratio

Pictures taken at an image quality setting of qhave an aspect ratio of 3 : 2, the same as a frame of 35-mm fi lm. Pictures taken at other settings have an aspect ratio of 4 : 3.

Control the camera’s sensitivity to light. Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting is poor; note, however, that mottling may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities. If AUTO is selected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically in response to shooting conditions.

In shooting modes other than M, sensitivity is set to AUTO; other values can not be selected.

Enhance contrast and color saturation or take pictures in black and white.

N, C, and Mmodes.

Notes

1COLOR is not reset when the camera is turned off or another shooting mode is selected.

Depending on the subject, the effects of yv-CHROMEmay not be visible in the monitor.
