Installing an accessible drive

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").

If a slide-in module is fitted, remove this first. To do this, proceed in the same way as when removing an accessible drive (see "Removing an accessible drive").

Do not dispose of the empty slide-in module. For cooling, protection against fire, and in ! order to comply with EMC regulations, you must refit the empty slide-in module if you

remove the drive again later.

► Take the new drive out of its packaging.

► Make the desired settings on the new drive (if necessary, to the settings of drives already installed as well (Master/Slave)).
