2.4 Turning On and Off the AUTO POWER Switch

■Procedure for removing the front cover

Remove the front cover in the following order.

Procedure

1By holding the tab of the front cover, pull the cover toward you to remove it.

2.4 Turning On and Off the AUTO POWER Switch

This section explains how to enable the AC automatic linkage mode by turning the AUTO

POWER switch of the controller enclosure to "ON".

When AC automatic linkage mode is enabled, the ETERNUS DX Disk storage system is auto-

matically turned on when the power supply recovers after a power failure.

When the AUTO POWER switch of the controller enclosure is set to "OFF", the AC automatic

linkage mode is disabled.

CAUTION

Do

•When removing the right side of the front cover, support its left

side with your left hand, to prevent it from coming loose and

falling.
