Functions of the Operator Panel

The Operator Panel is comprised of a Function Number Display, buttons, and LEDs, which are used to operate the scanner and to check the scanner status.

For information on how to configure settings for scanning using the [Scan/Stop] or [Send to] button, refer to the help topics the TWAIN scanner driver contained in the Setup DVD-ROM, or the section “Using the Scanner Buttons to Start A Scan Quickly” in the Operator’s Guide.

■ADF type

Two Operator Panels are mounted on the scanner; one each on each side. You can use whichever is convenient for you.They can be folded back in place when they are not used. The scanner status can be checked while the Operator Panels are folded back in place.
