Confirm that the scanner is not turned ON.

If an old version of the software is installed already, uninstall it first.

For how to uninstall each of the software, refer to “Appendix 5 Uninstalling the Software” in the Opera- tor’s Guide.

The following describes how to install the software.

2 Turn on your computer and log onto Windows.

Be sure to log on as a user with "Administrator" privileges.

3 Insert the Setup DVD-ROM into your disk drive.DThe [FUJITSU Image Scanner Setup] screen appears.

If this screen does not appear, find "AutoPlayer.exe" in the Setup DVD-ROM using "Windows Explorer" or "Computer" and execute it directly.

Click the [INSTALL (Recommended)] button.DThe list of scanners appears.Select the scanner model name you will be using.Then, click the [Next] button.

To use VRS option (CGA board) (for FI-677CGA), select [xxx + CGA board] (xxx indicates the scanner model).

6 Install the software, following the on-screen instructions.
