| Document cover: | Closed over and holds a document to be |

Automatic document feeder (ADF):
Automatically feeds documents to the reading position.
| Stacker: | Stacks the read documents. | 
| Extension: | Keeps the stacked documents from |

 | overhanging. | 
| Power switch: | Turns the power on or off. | 
| Indication panel: | The indication panel indicates the status | 
| 
 | of the scanner. | 
| ADF paper chute: | Holds the documents to be fed by the |

 | automatic document feeder. | 
| ADF lever: | Opens or closes the automatic document | 
| 
 | feeder to remove documents jammed in | 
| 
 | the feeder. | 
| Power inlet: | To be connected to an AC power outlet |

 | with the power cable. | 
| Interface connectors: | To be connected to the host system with |
