Software Documentation Updates

This section contains late-breaking software information that became known after the documentation set was published and corrections in the SPARC Enterprise M4000/M5000 servers software documentation.

The corrections for SPARC Enterprise M4000/M5000/M8000/M9000 servers XSCF Reference Manual, if not otherwise specified, also apply to the man pages which XSCF provides. And they supersede the information on the man pages.

The following description is added in EXTENDED DESCRIPTIOIN:

When the power is turned on from the operator panel, the wait time and warm-up time that you set are ignored. If you have set these times and wish to observe them at startup, perform the poweron(8) command.

The -p user option requires useradm privileges.

The -p network option requires either platadm or fieldeng privileges.

The -p altitude option requires platadm privileges.

The -p timezone option requires platadm privileges.
