5Connecting peripheral devices
Peripheral devices, such as the keyboard and mouse, etc., are connected to the server in the following
order.

6Attach the slide rail assemblies and
insert the rack nuts into the rack
holes.
Attach slide rails with washer s.
Insert latches of the rack nut s from inside of the
rack bracket.

Left and right slide rails are dif ferent.
Check the letter at the slide rail for correc t installa-
tion.
7Tightly fasten the binding head screws
on the rear slide rails.

8Insert the server to t into the rail as-
sembly inside the rack.
Insert the inner r ail of the server to the grooves of
the slide rail and slide the server t owards the back
to install to into the ra ck.

Rails have lock.
When pulling out the server, press the lo ck to release.
- Be careful not to pinch your ngers or c atch any cloth-
ing when sliding the server into the c abinet. This could
cause injury.
- For the rst time installation, make sure to s lide the
server backward and x it to th e rack securely.
9Fasten the server to the rack.

- Dispose unused parts for rack installatio n.
- Install the attached blank panel to the rack, whe re
the server or peripheral devices are not insta lled.
