The following is a brief description of your LIFEBOOK Tablet PC’s top components.

Display Latch

The display latch is used to secure the tablet PC display when it is closed.

Web Camera

The optional 2.0 megapixel web cam can be used to take pictures of yourself to send over the internet.

Display Panel

The display panel is a color LED panel with backlighting for the display of text and graphics. There are two different displays available: an active digitizer that is used with a stylus, and a dual digitizer that can be used with either a stylus or your fingers.

Dual Stereo Speakers

The built-in dual speakers provide stereo sound.

LIFEBOOK Security/Tablet PC Buttons

The LIFEBOOK Security/Tablet PC Buttons provide password security for your system, as well as one- touch application launch capability. See “LIFEBOOK Security/Tablet PC Buttons” on page 57.

Power/Suspend/Resume Switch

The Power/Suspend/Resume switch allows you to suspend Tablet PC activity without powering off, resume your LIFEBOOK Tablet PC from sleep mode, and power on your Tablet PC when it has been shut down from Windows. See “Power/Suspend/Resume Switch” on page 77.

Ambient Light Sensor

The ambient light sensor measures the light in which the computer is operating and automatically adjusts the brightness of the display to suit the lighting conditions. See “Enabling/Disabling Ambient Light Sensor (Windows 7 only)” on page 37.
