The meanings of the symbols are as follows:

Power-on indicator – mains operation

The indicator lights up green: The mains adapter is supplying power to the notebook.

The indicator flashes green: the notebook is in Standby mode.

Power-on indicator – battery operation

The indicator lights up green: The battery is supplying power to the notebook.

The indicator flashes green: the notebook is in Standby mode.

The indicator lights up orange: The battery is nearly empty.

The indicator flashes yellow: The notebook is in the standby mode and the battery is almost empty.

The indicator lights up red: The battery is empty.

The indicator flashes orange: The notebook is in the standby mode and the battery is empty.

Battery charging indicator

The indicator lights up: The battery is charging. Drive indicator

The indicator lights up: one of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being accessed.

Indicator Wireless LAN
