Cleaning the pump:

vBefore cleaning the pump, unplug the it from the mains.
1.Remove the filter housing 3 from the motor housing 6, and clean it.
2.Turn the pump inlet 5 anticlockwise and pull it vertically off the motor housing 6 (bayonet socket).
3.Take the impeller 8 out of the motor housing 6 and clean it.
4.Push the cleaned impeller 8 back into the motor housing 6.
5.Push the pump inlet 5 vertically on to the motor housing 6 and tighten it clockwise. (If the pump is to suck from under- neath, the thread must face downwards).
