6 - RECEIVER VOLUME ()

To adjust the receiver volume to your desired listening level, move the switch located behind the phone to the HI or LO position.

7 - NEW CALL INDICATOR

The red indicator light of your phone will flash when you have New Calls. The light will continue to flash until all the new calls have been reviewed.

8 - MUTE ( )

If you wish to speak privately to someone else in the room without your

caller overhearing, press the button once. You will still be able to hear the caller’s but they can not hear you during the mute operation.

To resume normal conversation, press button once again.

9 - RECALL (R)

Press R button to terminate a call and institute dialing tone for another call or to get another call from “Call Waiting” (a special telephone service). NOTE: If you do not have special telephone services from your operator, such as Call Waiting, pressing R button during a call may disconnect your current conversation.
