Accelerator Pedal
The accelerator pedal is located on the floor to the right of the brake pedal. To begin moving or to increase vehicle speed, gradually push the accelerator pedal toward the floor. Holding the accelerator pedal down continuously will accelerate the vehicle to the maximum speed.
The accelerator pedal will function only if the key is on.
To slow the vehicle, release the accelerator pedal. Electric motor braking provides braking when the pedal is released. For additional speed control or to stop the vehicle, apply the brakes.
