Due to chipset (Intel 865P) architecture limitation, a FSB 800 Pentium 4 processor will support DDR400 memory module. A FSB 533 Pentium 4 processor will support DDR333 and DDR266 memorymodule.
(Note 1) Due to standard PC architecture, a certain amount of memory is reserved for system usage and therefore the actual memory size is less than the stated amount.
For example, 4 GB of memory size will instead be shown as 3.xxGB memory during system startup. (Note 2) When FSB800 is selected as CPU frequency, memory will automatically adjust to DDR400.
