1Torque to 50-60 ft-lb (68-81 N•m).

2Torque together to 145-155 ft-lb (196-210 N•m).

3Apply sealant.

4Insert lanyard from locking pin onto tie rod (2).

5Apply thread lubricant to threads, o-rings, and seals. Do not apply to rod adapter (216) or rod (229).

7Push in de-ice control (15) fully. Symbols must be upright.
