5.0 Infant Restraint Location

5.1 Vehicle Seat Requirements

IMPROPER PLACEMENT OF THE INFANT RESTRAINT
INCREASES THE RISK OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Someseatingpositions in your vehicle may not besafeforthis infant
restraint.Somevehicles do not have any seating positionsthatcan
beusedsafely with the infant restraint. If youarenotsure where to
placetheinfant restraint in your vehicle, consult yourvehicleowner’s
manualorcall Graco at 1-800-345-4109.
•Whenever possible, secure the infant
restraint in the center position of the
seat directly behind the front seats .
Anadult should ride in the rearseat to
watchthe child. If the driver isthe only
adultpresent, a child may need toride in the front seat. BUT
ONLYif thereisno passenger-side air bag andallof the other
vehicleseat and seat belt requirements listedare met.
