To install the legs: |

1.With the help of an assistant, lay the bandsaw down on a block to support the base as shown in Figure 5, and insert the legs into the base.

2.Insert the hex bolts through the body and legs (Figure 5), and fasten with the hex nuts.
3.Place the rubber feet on the bottom of the legs.
4.With the help of an assistant, lift the bandsaw upright.
Tensioning Blade
The bandsaw blade must be adequately ten- sioned so that it will cut straight and not fall off the wheel during operation.
To tension the blade:
1.Unplug the bandsaw:
2.Turn the tension knob (Figure 6) clockwise to increase blade tension and counterclock- wise to decrease blade tension.

3.Adjust the blade tension until the blade deflects approximately 1/4" with moderate pressure from your finger.
