Moving & Placement

The Model T23036 is a heavy machine. A forklift or other lifting device will be needed to lift the shear off of the pallet. Place lifting straps under the table and connect them to the forklift forks. Have a helper nearby to assist and stabilize the shear while you lift it, as shown in Figure 5.

Mounting to Shop

Floor

The Model T23036 must be mounted to the floor to avoid accidental tipping during use. Because floor materials vary, floor mounting hardware is not included. Whichever option you choose, it is necessary to level your machine with a precision level.

Lag shield anchors with lag bolts and anchor studs (Figure 6) are two popular methods for anchoring an object to a concrete floor. We sug- gest you research the many options and methods for mounting your machine and choose the best that fits your specific application.

NOTICE

Anchor studs are stronger and more per- manent alternatives to lag shield anchors; however, they will stick out of the floor, which may cause a tripping hazard if you decide to move your machine.
