Operation Overview
To use the foot shear:
1.Mark the workpiece along the line to be cut.
2.Place the workpiece on the table and adjust it so that the line made in Step 1 is aligned with the edge of the bottom blade.
3.Step down on the foot pedal until the cut is complete.

Shearing Tips
•For the best results, never cut any piece nar- rower than eight times the thickness of the material. For example 1⁄2" strip of 0.06" mild steel.
•Keep the blade gap to the smallest distance possible.
•The table below lists other materials and the equivalent decimal thicknesses that can be used on this shear.
