Inserting batteries in the remote control

1 Open the battery compartment by pushing down its lid.

2 When inserting the batteries (2 x 1.5 V, R 6/UM 3/AA), observe the polarity marked on the base of the battery com- partment.

Note:

If your hi-fi system no longer reacts properly to remote control commands, the batteries may be flat. Always remove used bat- teries. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage result- ing from leaking batteries.

Environmental note:

Batteries, including those which contain no heavy metal, should not be disposed of with household waste. Please dispose of used batteries in an environmentally responsible manner. Find out about the legal regulations which apply in your area.

Connecting the headphones

TUNING/ALBUM ON/ OFF

1Insert the headphone plug (3.5 mm) into the »￿« socket on the front of the hi-fi.

– The loudspeakers of the hi-fi system are switched off.

Connecting an external device

1Use standard cinch cables to connect the audio output sockets of the external device to the »AUX IN« sockets on the hi-fi.

Note:

Switch the hi-fi system off before you connect external devices.
