1To view the current programme type, press »PTY« on the remote control.

–Display: the current programme type, e.g. »NEWS«, »PTY« flashes.

–If no programme type code is transmitted, »NO PTY« appears in the display.

2Press »PTY« repeatedly on the remote control to select another programme type.

3Press »c TUNING/ALBUM x« to start the PTY search.

–Display: »FM«, the frequency in rapid run-through, and »PTY« flashes.

–The search stops once a station with the programme type you want is found, and the selected programme type, for example »POP M«, and the current time appear in the display.

4Press »PTY« briefly to stop the search.
