control. E choStar Communications Corporation an d its affiliated companies

(“we,”“our,” “us”) warrantthis remote control against defects

inmateria ls or workmanship as follows.

Foro ne year from the origi nal date of purchase , if we find the remote c ontrol

isdefect ive subject to the limits of this warran ty,we will replacet he remote

atno charge for parts or labor.We warrant any such workdone against defects

inmateria ls or workmanship for the remaining part o f the original warranty

period.

Thiswarranty does not cover in stallation of the DISH Network System;

consumerinstruction; physicalset up or adjustment of any consumer electronic

device;remote control batteries;signal reception problems; loss of use of the

equipment;unused programmingcharges due to equipment malfunction;

cosmeticdamage; damage due to lightning,electrical or telephone linesurges,

fire,flo od, or other acts of Nature; accident; misuse; abuse; repa iro ralt eration

byot her than our factory s ervice; negligen ce; commercial o r institutional us e;

improperor neglected maintenance;equipment sold AS IS or WITH ALL

FAULTS;equipment removal or reinsta llation; shipping damage if the

equipmentwas not packed and shippedin the manner we prescribe; nor

equipmentpurchased, serviced,or operated outside the contiguous

UnitedSta tes of America.
