4.Use the number buttons to enterany number
from1 to 16, but not the one you found in step 2.
TheSat mode button goes out after you enter
eachdigit, and then lightsup again.
Writedown the number you enter _______.
5.Press the Pound (#) button.
If the address yo u enter works, theSat mode button
flashesthree times.
6.Press the Rec ordbutton.
7.This is important: Makesure the Remote Address
onthe Important System Information menu now
isthe same as the one you entered in step 4. Ifit isn’t,
theremote can’tcontrol the receiver.
8.To check the address,pressand hold the Sat mode
buttonfor three seconds. Then,let go of the Sat button,
andpress the Pound (#) button twice.TheSatmode
buttonflashes the same number of timesas the address
youenteredinstep4.
9.Press the Select button to close the
ImportantSystem Information menu.
ATTACH THE REMOTE CONTROLANT ENNA
Touse the remote’sUHF signals to
controlthe receiver,you must attach the
UHFantenna to the receiver’sback
panelUHF RemoteAntenna input.
Setthe antenna straight up so you can
usethe remote as far away as possible.
Note: Ifyou don’t attach the antenna,you can still use the remote
tocontrol the receiver at short distances. This is b ecause
theremotesendsbothIR and UHF signals to thereceiver.
