•May install non-combustible materials to cover gap be- tween facing material and appliance (see Figure 8.3).

•Black metal columns may be covered with non- combustible material only.

•Do NOT overlap combustible materials onto appliance front.

•Install combustible materials up to specified clear- ances on top front and side edges.

•Seal joints between the finished wall and appliance top and sides using only a 300oF minimum sealant.
