Stereo reception with the built-in tuner

This built-in Tuner can receive	NICAM stereo sound reception:
Stereo-/2 channel-program. In case	1 Select NICAM.
the Stereo broadcast was send out
with NICAM, this unit can
distinguish these NICAM Stereo	Press	or	to select AUTO or OFF.
broadcasts automatically.
	Select OFF if you want no NICAM-reception.

	2 Press MENU repeatedly until the MENU disappears.
	Followings can be displayed by NICAM-reception.
	"NICAM ST" illuminates
	for approx. 4 seconds
	when a NICAM
	STEREO broadcast
	signal is received.
	"NICAM M1"
	illuminates for approx.
	4 seconds when a
	NICAM MONO A
	broadcast signal is
	received.
	"NICAM M1/M2"
	illuminates for approx.
	4 seconds when a
	NICAM MONO A and
	MONO B broadcast
	signal is received.
	It will be displayed for
	the NICAM signal for
	approx. 4 seconds
	when the "NICAM OFF"
	is selected in menu
	screen.
Notes:	A2 Stereo reception
• In case of bad reception, the stereo	"STEREO" illuminates
sound also can be disturbed.	for approx. 4 seconds
• A stereo is not available in the	when a A2 STEREO
broadcast area of only NTSC.	broadcast signal is
	received.
