The MENU button will flash for about 30 seconds, and "120" flashes in the VCR's display for about 10 seconds.

2 Press the CLEAR button to choose the type of tape you are using.

120:T-120 or shorter tape

160:T-140 or T-160 tape

180:T-180 tape

210:T-210 tape

The display is displayed for a short time, so you must press the button quickly.

If you are not using a T-140, T-160, T-180 or T-210 tape, choose "210". When the display disappears, proceed with normal or time-delayed recording.

NOTES:

Once you select the length of a tape, it is not necessary to select it again for future recordings on the same tape.

Record programs in sequence from the beginning of the tape.

If you record for less than 5 minutes at the SP speed (15 minuts at the EP speed), tape data will not be stored in memory.

If you select an incorrect tape length, the correct data will not be stored.

The power comes on automatically, the tape indicator lights on the display, and the "MENU" button on the VCR flashes.

2 Press MENU button on the VCR or the remote control. The directory screen will appear.
