•Turn the tape data feature on and off

•Turn the program title feature on and off

•Display tape navigation data

•Delete tape navigation data

Note: If a cassette is in the VCR, eject it before you select the tape data menu.

Press the GUIDE button. Then press the (5) button.

The tape data menu will appear.

1 TAPE DATA <ON>/<OFF>Press the (1) button to switch the TAPE DATA ON and OFF.

Note: With tape navigation OFF, you cannot use option 2 (AUTO TITLE ON/OFF); option 3 (DELETE TAPE NO. DATA); or option 4 (DISPLAY TAPE NO. DATA.)

2 AUTO TITLE <ON>/<OFF> To turn off program title:

If you do not want to store program titles in memory.

Press the (2) button to turn off the program title. Press the (2) button again to turn PROGRAM TITLE ON.

Note: When program title is turned OFF, the recording date, start time and channel will be stored instead of the program title.

3 DELETE TAPE NO. DATA To delete tape data:Press the (3) button.

The screen will display tape numbers and dates of the recordings made on the tape.
