Wireless Keyfobs

Keyfobs are portable controllers that can be attached to a key ring. They will allow you to Set and Unset the system by a single press of a button and can some- times be programmed with additional functions. Because they operate by radio, they can be used anywhere around the premises provided that they are within range of the installed radio receiver.

NOTE: Labels are provided to place over the buttons to indicate the function.

Setting the System — Full Set

To set the system, make sure all doors are closed and windows are secure. The system cannot be set if there has previously been an alarm which has not been reset.

To set the entire system:

Keypad:

Wireless Keyfob:

Type your PIN code

Press [ON] button

then press [A]

 

Prox Tag:

Hold the tag in front of the prox symbol for 3 seconds

The exit timer will begin and there will be a constant tone. Leave by the agreed exit route and close the door. When the exit timer expires, there will be a 5 second settle period and then two beeps will confirm the completion of setting.

NOTE: Display not shown when using wireless keyfobs to set the system.

If you hear a rapid beeping sound, the system cannot set as there are open zones. The keypad will show which zones are open.

The setting procedure can be cancelled at any time during the exit time by pressing the esc key on the keypad, the [OFF] button on the keyfob or placing the tag back in front of the prox symbol.
