Remote Access
This category enables you to access and control your security system using an emulated keypad.

If your remote access account has been configured by the dealer as a Full Control keypad (AUI, Advanced User Interface) you will access a keypad with tabbed windows allowing additional control of your security system.
If your remote access account has been configured by the dealer as a Keypad Only or LYNX Keypad, a keypad with NO tabs will appear. With either remote keypad, functions are performed in the same manner as on a local keypad, however you CANNOT initiate panics. (Refer to your control panel user guide for operating the system.)

When the Launch Keypad button is clicked, first an applet window appears. For those systems that utilize a Full Control keypad, a security screen appears prompting for your
∙On the LYNX keypad, if a loss of AC power occurs at the security system; the green Ready LED becomes yellow, and the red Armed LED becomes pink. Additionally, the AUX button does not function.
∙If a "CONNECTION LOST" message appears, close the applet screen, and click Launch Keypad again.
