Serial Connector – COM2

COM2 provides +12v on pin 9 when enabled.

Do not connect a serial bar code scanner to COM2 as this may damage the scanner, the Thor VX8 or both.

The COM2 serial connector is an industry-standard RS-232 9-pin “D” connector. The connector and its pin assignments are shown below.
