displayed for this parameter depend on the type of radio installed in the mobile device.

It is important the Radio Mode parameter correspond to the AP to which the device is to connect. For example, if this parameter is set to G rates only, the Thor VX8 may only connect to APs set for G rates and not those set for B and G rates.
