The board adjustments are made through variable resistors on the board. The cube control is marked VR5. This adjusts the thermistor switching temperature of - 9.4°F and the length of the freeze cycle. The dimple size in the cube also changes. Adjusting to a larger dimple will result in a shorter freeze cycle and a smaller cube. A smaller dimple setting will result in a longer cycle and a larger cube. The factory setting is 5.
