The MM312 DCP media module provides 24 Digital Communications Protocol (DCP) ports with RJ-45 jacks. The MM312 supports simultaneous operation of all 24 ports. Each port can be connected to a two-wire DCP telephone. See Appendix B: Supported Avaya telephones for a list of compatible DCP telephones.

Note:

The MM312 does not support four-wire DCP telephones.

The MM712 DCP media module provides eight DCP telephone ports. The ports support two-wire Digital Communications Protocol (DCP) telephones. See Appendix B: Supported Avaya telephones for a list of compatible DCP telephones.

The MM717 DCP media module provides 24 DCP ports of two-wire DCP functionality exposed as a single 25-pair amphenol connector. The DCP ports are exposed by connecting the module via a standard amphenol cable to a punch-down block with RJ-11 jacks. The MM717 allows you to use one of the smaller media module slots for a large number of DCP telephones.
