Suspending and Restoring Security Provisions

You can temporarily suspend the securit y restrictions on an y disc le you create by using the :RELEASE command. This allo ws any user to access the le in an y mode, thus providing unlimited access to the le. It does not remo ve lockword protection, and it does not modify the le security settings recorded in the system. It merely b ypasses them temporarily . :RELEASE remains in eect for a le un til you enter the :SECURE command in this or a later job or session or un til the le is modied.
