Chapter 8 CIFS/9000 COMPETITION LOCKING SUMMARY
CIFS/9000 competitors are comprised of dedicated NAS (Network Attached Storage) file servers and general purpose UNIX/NT integration servers. Competitor file locking data has been gathered from the documentation of the competitor’s products and summarized here. In a future revision of this paper, actual competitor locking test results will be published. The following products will be examined:
