To conﬁgure the MIDlets environment setting

•On the JBlend screen, click Menu > Java Settings, and then clear the Backlight always on check box to minimise the power consumption.

To set MIDlet permission settings

For each MIDlet already installed, JBlend allows you to individually set permission options to perform certain actions. You can set permission options for performing each action by following these steps:

1.On the JBlend screen, select a MIDlet and click Menu > Application > Permissions.

2.For each action, choose one of the following permission options:

•Never. Prohibits a MIDlet from performing the action.

•Allow and ask me next time. Asks for your conﬁrmation whenever a MIDlet attempts to perform the action.

3.Click OK.

Note Changes to permission settings for a MIDlet in a multi-MIDlet suite will affect the settings for the whole suite.
