To create a new dial-up connection

After a new modem has been set up on your PC, you must create a new dial-up connection to connect your PC to the Internet using your device.

1.On your PC, select Start > Settings > Control Panel.

2.Double-clickNetwork and Dial-up Connections.

3.Double-clickMake New Connection.

4.Click Next to continue.

5.Click Dial-up to the Internet.

6.Click Next.

7.Click Set up my connection manually and click Next.

8.Click Connect using a dial modem and click Next.

9.Enter the ISP Name and click Next.

10.Enter the telephone number as *99# and click Next.

11.You don’t have to enter the username and password when using GPRS. Click Next to continue.

12.Enter a name for this connection and click Next.

13.Select No when the installation wizard prompts you to set up an Internet mail account and click Next.

14.Click Finish to exit the wizard.

15.Double-click the connection you have set up and try to connect.
