6.5 Checking Hard Disk Drive
Youcan check the free space of the hard disk drive, and can format the disk drive if necessary.
1. Pressthe MENU button.
2. SelectRecord using the button,and press the OK
or button.
3. SelectHDD Control using the button,and press the
OK or button.
4. Youcan check the used and free space of the HDD.
5. SelectFormat and press the OK button to remove all
therecorded programmes saved on the HDD, and
initialisethe HDD.
6. SelectOK for the format confirm message, and enter a
passwordto start formatting the HDD.

Note:
• Youhave to be careful because performing format deletes all the recorded programmes
savedon the HDD.
• Evenif you have removed the HDD because it is out of order, you can still watch
programmes.
