Usingthe built-in hard disk drive, you can record a programme without an external media device such as a VCR.

6.1 Instant Recording
Pressthe RECORD button on the remote controller to record the current programme instantly. The product will
recordthe live broadcast feed, so if you are watching a time-delayed recording, the recorder will not save what you are
currentlywatching. If you change channels while recording and press the RECORD button, recording starts. You
canrecord up to two channels simultaneously. While recording two channels simultaneously, you cannot perform
TSR(TimeShifted Recording), however, programmes on air can be viewed.
Pressthe STOP button to stop the recording while you record
twoother channels. Then you will be prompted to select one among the
recordingchannels.
Pressthe RECORD button again to record another channel while
yourecord two other channels. Then you will be prompted to select one
tostop for new recording.
Notice:
• Ensurethat there is enough free space before recording. If the free space on the hard disk drive is insufficient,
recordingwill stop. Recording one hour of programme may require up to 2 or 3GB of hard disk space. The space
forrecording 1 hour of programme may be different depending on the programme recorded.
• Youcan record radio programmes also.
