Note: This trimmer head can operate either as a manual feed or a bump feed.

NOTE: Operating with trimmer line of uneven length will cause excessive vibration. Always make sure the line is wound evenly and trimmed to equal lengths from the eyelets.

Shipped with 21 feet of .080 line.

Turn the lower knob at the bottom of the trimmer head clockwise to disas- semble the halves.
Remove the spool from the housing.
Clean the spool, housing and eyelets. Inspect for wear and damage. Replace damaged components.

Inspect the arbor bolt and replace it if damaged. Reattach the eyelets if they were removed or replaced. Never operate a trimmer head without eyelets!
Cut two equal lengths of trimmer line, no longer than 25 feet each. Place an end from each piece of line into the holes in the center of the spool.
Wind the line clockwise onto the spool following the direction of the arrows stamped into the spool.
